What happens if I'm not home when my parcel is delivered?

Royal Mail will usually...

1
Leave the parcel with a neighbour,
2
In a 'safe place'
3
Or take your parcel back to the delivery office. (A card should be left if this happens.)

If your parcel is taken to your local delivery office you can rearrange delivery. This can be done online or by calling the telephone number on the card.

You can also collect the order from your local delivery office. Please take the card they left with you and some ID. You would normally need to leave 24 hours after the attempted delivery before you are able to collect your parcel.

Please check the local delivery office opening hours on the card left for you before leaving to collect your parcel.
